MEcava is a combination of our names, Michelle and Edward Cavazos.
Edward and I have been married for many, many years, Edward does not like to disclose the number, he says it makes us too old, LOL! We are originally from Dallas, Texas but have lived in Louisiana since 2007.
We consider ourselves accidental artist; we do not always know what we are going to get when we get started but are usually pretty happy with it.

We have not been painting for very long. This was suppose to be just a hobby. Since COVID hit and our full time jobs were greatly affected; this hobby has become Michelle’s full time job. And, with the over abundance of paintings, we have decided it is time to sell some of them so that we can continue to eat and paint.
You can find many of them on our Art Gallery page. Numerious methods of acrylic painting techniques have been used. We love to experiment and try different methods and color schemes.

As a natural progression into being creative and more free time, Michelle has started handcrafting a large amount of jewelry. Some have bits of our abstract paintings incorporated in them.
There is a large variety of Rosaries; each include a black velvet case w/matching charms.
Also, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and face mask lanyards (that can easily be converted to glasses lanyards) are available in a variety of styles and designs.
